 A current passport is required. Expired passports are not allowed

Proof of your current address.
 

Tax Filing Requirement:

You must be filing a tax return to qualify for an ITIN. Ensure your tax return is prepared or in progress.

 

Children Applying for an ITIN

​Valid Passport:

The child must have a current, unexpired passport.
 

Proof of Residency:
  - School records
  - Medical records
  - Other official documents showing the child's address

 

ITIN Renewals

​Valid Passport:

A current, unexpired passport is required.

Previous ITIN Number:

Bring your previous ITIN number for reference.
 

Proof of Current Residency:

Documentation verifying your current address.
